Sharing Traditional Knowledge Spring 2024

6 April 2024

RSVP here please! (Short survey to help us plan meals and snacks for the day)

The TL;DR

  • Location: The Bay Mills Culture Center - 12498 W Tower Rd, Brimley, MI 49715

  • When: April 13th 2024, 9am to 5pm -ish or longer if we're up for it

  • Drinks: We will have coffee and water but plan to BYOB otherwise

  • Meals: Oatmeal, bacon, cereal, etc. for breakfast; Potluck for lunch, please be sure to label your dishes and help with cleaning up after, and some kind of one-pot dinner like chili or stew.

Aanii! We've set the date for Saturday April 13th to meet in Brimley and have an RSVP form to let us know that you'll be able to make it, please let us know as soon as possible and if your plans change; you should be able to edit your response to this form. We're figuring that Friday may be a travel day for those coming from far away and haven't planned anything for Friday evening this time. We would like to start around 9am on Saturday at the Bay Mills Culture Center - 12498 W Tower Rd, Brimley, MI 49715.

We want to make sure we have enough food so if you could let us know you and your group's (if you're answering for multiple people) preferences and/or dietary restrictions we're going to do the best we can to accommodate/stock up beforehand. If you plan to bring a dish for the lunch potluck, we have attendees with nut allergies and vegan/vegetarian diets, so please list all of the ingredients in your dish, I'll have post-its and pens.

Please note that we will have water and coffee available but please bring your own beverages if you would like other options.

Join the Zoom meeting

We'll have a Zoom meeting for those who are unable to make it but would still like to join remotely. If you are not currently on the email list, RSVP with your email and indicate that you will be joining remotely. I will send you the Zoom link so we don't have it posted publicly and risk trolls or spam. Miigwech!

14 January 2024

Please respond by February 14th! (Valentine's day)

Aanii! We're in the process of setting the dates, please click the link below to add your availability. After we set a date we'll setup an RSVP link.
